Alderney Railway - The only railway in the Channel Islands, built by the Admiralty in 1847. A miniature railway also operates some Sundays in July and August.

The railway is 2 miles in length.

The line was originally built by the Admiralty to haul stone from Mannez Quarry to the site of new fortifications.

Trains are hauled by diesel and carriages include 1950s London Underground carriages.
