South East

The south east of England stretches from Southampton in the West all the way to Dover in the east. And from Eastbourne in the south to Milton Keynes in the north. We keep locations in the London area separate from the wider south east.

The tourist areas have more than their fair share of miniature railways - enough to provide the most enthusiastic families many weekends of fun. The seaside resorts have their own unique appeal, and railways to match - look out for the pier railways and cliff railways for a short, but very special trip.

There is also a wide selection of both standard gauge and narrow gauge railways throughout the region, with the Bluebell Railway and the Lavender Line possibly the best known.
